Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the K-Source Universal Dual-Lens Towing Mirrors.Whenever we're pulling a trailer behind our Traverse, our towing mirrors are going to be a great tool to have to help increase our line of sight. Our factory mirror is only going to provide us with so much coverage, and that can be a real inconvenience when we're going down the road, making those lane changes, backing up, or even just trying to keep an eye on our trailer. And that's where our towing mirrors inaudible 00:00:34 come into play. It's going to expand our field of view, and we're going to know what's going on. That way we can make safe maneuvers.As you can see, I'm visible in our towing mirror, but not in the factory mirror. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror, part number KS3891. Here at the back of our trailer, we have clear visibility with our factory mirror, though if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our mirror on our universal towing mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view. Our mirror is held in place by four tabs at the front, and our two straps at the back. Our straps at the back have rubber coating to prevent any scratches or abrasions, and are ratchet straps to give a nice, secure fit. With our K-Source towing mirror installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be taking a look at the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. Now, we've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer. Here in our factory mirror, we have clear visibility to the rear of our trailer, though if I step out to the side just a bit, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles on the highway or trying to park our trailer. Our mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view. If we want to extend it out to extend our field of view, we'll just come to the nut on the top. We want to loosen that up completely, we can pull out, and we want to make sure we tighten that nut back up, and we've easily widened our field of view. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be taking a look at the Clip On Towing Mirror part number 7070. Here at our trailer and our factory mirror, we have clear visibility to the rear. Though if I step out to the side, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror, but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to help whenever we're trying to pass vehicles, or pull in and out of a parking spot. Our mirror is fully adjustable, to change our field of view to whatever we need. Today, on our 2017 Chevrolet Traverse will be taking a look at the Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number: 11953. Here at the back of our trailer in our factory mirror we have clear visibility to the back, though, if I step out to the side just a bit, we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror in that larger portion there. This is going to be helpful when trying to pass vehicles or trying to pull in and out of a parking spot. If we step out just a little further, we're going to have that extra space on our dual view mirror, which gives us even more safety and visibility. Our dual-view mirror is fully adjustable to change our field of view to whatever we need. The four tabs at the front and the two straps in the back are going to help give us a nice secure fit to our factory mirror. The rubberized straps at the back are going to prevent any scratches or abrasions and make sure that our mirror stays in place. With our towing mirror installed, we can partially fold in our factory mirror to get into those tight spaces. Our mirror comes in a quantity of one, though it does work for the driver and passenger side. more

It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. The mirror itself can be rotated 360 degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. It can also be extended out to further suit our towing needs. We simply undo the nut up here, on top, bring it out, and then tighten it back down. more

Today, on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA Clip-On Towing Mirror, part number 7070. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up, while towing a trailer. The mirror can be rotated 360 degrees, and can be positioned at any angle we choose. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, though we won't be able to rotate it all the way in as the arm will come in contact with the trim. The mirror measures 7 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide. Now, it comes in a quantity of 1, so if you'd like to pick up a second one for the other side, just use the same part number. I'm here at the passenger side of my Traverse, and to begin our test fit, we need to make sure that our arms are opened up, ready to receive the housing. We also, when we clip it on, we want to make sure that each one of these clips is on the inside of the housing. more

Today on our 2010 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the K Source Clip On Towing Mirror. Part number KS3891. It offers us a wide field of view, it's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, park, or even back up while towing a trailer. We can adjust our mirror to any angle we want and by simply removing the screw at the back we can bring the mirror out and rotate it horizontally. It's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, though we will not be able to rotate it in as the arm will hit the trim. The mirror measures 7 and 3/4s of an inch long and 5 and 1/8th of an inch wide. It comes in a quantity of 1 so if you'd like to pick up a second one for the other side just use the same part number. more

Simply loosen up this large nut up here. Extend it out as much as we need, and then tighten it back down. The mirror itself can be rotated three hundred sixty degrees and can be adjusted to any angle. By loosening up the knob back here, we can adjust our mirror anywhere along the bar. more

Today on our 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we'll be doing a test fit on the CIPA dual-view clip-on towing mirror, part number 11953. Both mirrors can be adjusted to any angle. Over here, you can see how it's not going to interfere with the operation of our factory mirror, though we won't be able to rotate it all the way in, as one of the arms will make contact with the trim on our Traverse. It offers us a wide field of view. It's going to allow us to safely and easily change lanes, pass, or park while towing a trailer. As you can see, between both of our mirrors, one gives us a wider view, and the other one gives us a closer and larger view. I'm here on the passenger side of my Traverse, and to begin our test fit, let's go ahead and turn our mirror over. We have these two knobs on the back. Let's go ahead and loosen those up. more

K Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Traverse

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Traverse we'll be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors, part number KS3891. As you can see in our factory mirror, we do have a lot of visibility here at the back although if we look towards our towing mirror, we've got a lot more visibility to the side for safely parking or changing lanes. The mirror face dimensions are 7 3/4 inches by 5 1/8 inches. With our towing mirror installed, you can see that we have full adjustment any direction we may need, and it's not going to interfere with the movement of our factory mirror. Our towing mirror is equipped with ratcheting straps here in the back to give us a nice snug fit. We also have the pads here along the bottom to prevent any scratches from our towing mirror onto our factory mirror. more

Today on this 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, we're going to show you the K-Source Clip On Mirrors, part number KS3891, for back up to our trailer, let's go ahead and check it out. Our original mirror right here, hasn't been moved or anything like that, however we've positioned our towing mirror to make things easier to see. We've got most of our regular viewing distance in our car right here and then we can see much more of our trailer with our towing mirror, and also beyond that as well. This is an extra large universal towing mirror that clips over your existing side mirrors on your vehicle. This will give you an extended rear view past your vehicle and onto your trailer. We have one of our mirrors installed on our passenger side here, we'll go ahead and take a closer look at it. First off, it clips in with these little hooks that catch onto the bottom edge of the factory mirror. This is the bottom edge, let's take a look at the top and it does the same thing. more
